Hi mate,
That's a bugger. Unfortunately it has snapped off at the swivel point of the base (you can see the open casting ring).
Depending on the owner there are Chinese knock offs on ebay he/she may accept.

Frasers don't have any in stock and there is none on gumtree. You might have to order one from a ducati dealer or hope a nice person on here has one for sale.
Good on you for trying to do the right thing. Many people would walk away and do/say nothing.

Cant see how you broke it so easily, they swivel.

I've also found some ones in ebay sold in NSW for a reasonable price. He bought it second hand so I hope he wouldn't mind.
@Paul G - I walked to get to the lift and my bag bumped/caught onto the edge and then it just came off. I stood there for a solid minute figuring out why it broke off so easily. I was confused how such an expensive looking bike had such measly parts. I've come to the conclusion it was already broken and they used silicone to do a quick fix (see imgur link)
