I installed some ddm tuning HIDS lights to my panigale last night and was tight fit as most know who have done it, and left the ballast packs on the actual headlight itself and wondering if that could make the air sensor also near where the headlight sits to read wrong as the ballast packs can get hot. Anyone else had this issue? Haven't been riding it since yesterday so haven't actually checked. And if the air sensors are all out would that make the fueling etc out too , to do with the ecu and air mixture etc

I originally placed mine there with no issues. I have moved them in front of the radiator to get better airflow and they are out of sight. I used industrial velcro and they don't move at all.

I also tried placing the ballasts behind the dash but it produced som much heat, the dash would blink and reset the trip meters everytime I started the bike!

I have a set of DDM Tuning HID's with slim ballasst installed on my bike. The ballast are located above the headlight under the front cowl. I rode the bike most of summer in San Deigo heat, never had any issues with anything over heating.
