Flat areas only, not drop off's etc. No pinging the clutch just grunt. I'm just curious.

My 1198SP will power wheelie in 4th gear at ~130mph. It happens at that speed just after you shift into 4th at redline. The revs drop right into the torque peak of 105ft/lbs at 8k rpm. It’s a slow rising wheelie as the aero drag around me and the windscreen is pushing back pretty high above the CG.

I agree my 1198 will loft the front the well up over 100. Grunty lumps they are. I timed the cams to supersport specs. The 1198 suffers no fools which is why they never made an 1198 SF. My V4SF is nowhere near as vicious. I think it's faster in a drag race maybe. Doesn't get off a corner as hard. But turns in every bit as hard in spite of the long wheelbase.

This is a serious discussion. Now if you can take a leak while pulling a wheelie (and one would hope standing backwards) then yes that counts.

I accidentally wheelied at about 110 mph on a slight downhill a few track days ago, didn’t have my lower wings on though at the time. I chopped the throttle to let a faster guy around and hammered it back on thinking I was carrying enough speed to not wheelie, got a fun little surprise lol

Was in 3rd gear I think, definitely in the power band.

I wasn't trying to be a .... (......, malaka). And I am never really ever serious. I was expecting another one of your irreverent comments as a retort.

Nothing like a man who can insult in multiple languages. I have a greek friend so I use malaka alot.

Yes, more languages the better IMO. Also I can verify that the V4R will wheelie at Laguna in third gear uphill after 6 and before the flag tower at around
120mph. Happened last year and caught me by surprise. Just a nice lift up towards the corkscrew around 7. That was with DWC at 2. Fun stuff.

I can confirm, JollyRoger, is the official .... on this forum. Every forum has one, unfortunately.
However, there is also an 'actual' ...., lurking, somewhere on here too.

Maybe it's me, maybe it's you. But everyone knows who it is.

The back of languna is fun. And challenging. Do we all agree that the corkscrew is the hardest corner on the west coast? On the left (8?) at the exit of the corkscrew, the pavement was (is) on camber if you're clipping the paint. The master IMHO of the corkscrew was Oliver. On the 250. Perfect lap after lap. Fun to watch.

Funny thing is I see more people crash in Turn 3 overcooking it on the off camber. Rich Oliver as a master class on the 250 like Nick I. too...
Used to watch those guys at Willow in the 80's..

Speaking of Willow, went there once in the 90;s to watch a Ferrari Challenge race. Walked around and came up to Phil Hill and chatted him up for 15 minutes.
Great guy!!
