moore, ok
Just saw the specs on this neat little bike, looks to be a BMX bike with a 125, I want one!

125cc single slug, fuel injected, 12" wheels, MSRP $2,999.

honda grom

Am I missing something here? My friend is going nuts over this thing too. I just don't see it..... Anyone care to enlighten me???

Other than a relatively cheap way to add another bike to the stable, I don't necessarily see the appeal either.

just a fun little bike to screw around on, sometimes it's the little things in life that make us smile, this is one of them, at least for me. it's a street legal mini-bike, who doesn't like riding mini-bikes?!, the price is just a bonus.

to me this bike has the attitude "don't take life to serious, you won't make it out alive."

I use to have a GSXR1100 and an RG50, the RG was pick of them to go for a blast, so I see where you're coming from having a mini pocket rocket.

Just a question, would it be more fun than a KTM 200 Duke?

I realize the bike is not for everyone. but if you've ever rode a mini bike as a kid. riding one of these kinds of bikes, it just makes you feel like a big kid again.

unfortunately the 200 duke is not yet available in the u.s. and I haven't heard any word on it becoming available. I imagine the ktm and other manufacturers for that matter, are watching the sales of the grom, it's a great market that's untapped by most manufacturers. a sub $4k street bike in the us. there's money to be made here. build it, and the kids will buy it.

Well.........if I did for some reason get one.......hehehehe

I totally agree. Something about a small light bike that is just plain fun. I know it is different than the GROM, but I have a 1956 MV Agusta 175. It's a hoot around the neighborhood and the size and weight remind me of my first bike, 1974 Honda 50 Minitrail.

Three-Kay You-say? My bank account shall have a bad day, for you have to pay to play.

Seriously, I'm going to look into this once I've found myself a new place to live post-move.

They're slow...really slow. I was planning on getting one, but got a Bonneville instead. My buddy picked up the one I had on hold and after he got it I was really happy I didn't. A Yamaha Zuma 125 scooter is faster lol.
