bikes have come a long way since I started riding. the old Kawasaki Z-1 900 was/is notorious from hitting the power band like a two stroke and shoot out from underneath you. the V65 magna was also pretty wicked for being light in the front.
I consider the V2 a very safe machine compared the other offerings, ducati or otherwise.
to the OP, which I think we have scared away, might want to know things like the mirrors don't fold for his long commute or you need to add a couple psi to the front tire driving on roads with potholes.
