2013 models have a fairing cutout to check the oil sight glass. Sorry if this bothers those who enjoy worshiping.

Yes, I have one of the "original' 1199's that do not have that unsightly (pun intended) hole! Down the road, when you meet another Panigale rider, you will look for their hole! Kinda like when kids did the iny-outy thing :D
