I picked my 1199 base on Friday evening, already put over 620 miles on it over the weekend. Seein if I can break my riding record last year. Rode 18,500 miles on my brand new 848 in 6 months. Lets see if my Panigale is up to the task!

50 miles since picking her up last Friday....T_T, i hope i dont end up like one of those guys who sell their 3 years old bike with 800 miles on it...been working alot, and it has been raining everyday in Boston...

That's pretty amazing. I'm on the other end of the spectrum.. Last Ducati I bought was a 996 new in 2001... sold it in 2006 with a hair over 2000 miles on it.

This Panigale is like a "bull in a china store" here in Austin. Just way too much traffic to have any fun on it. I bought it for blasts out into the hill country and a shot at running on the new F1 track that's being built here.

I'll be shocked if I can get to the first service by the end of the year. Keep us posted on how it holds up with as many miles as you are planning on putting on it.

As of now 622 miles since I picked it last Wednesday. Probably do a couple more today once first service is completed.

I'm with you. No time and not that fun in Seattle. I'll street it occasionally with the wife. Mine has 105 miles I think in the 3 weeks I've owned it, but it DID do a session at the track

I want to at LEAST get the first service done this season.

Just got back from a 10 day road trip around northern Spain. Completed the 600 miles and first service before leaving, total mileage on bike now is 2679. Really enjoyed being able to open her right up once the 1500 mile break in was completed. Loads of smoke in the early days, nothing at all now, does cook your arse whilst riding in traffic but not to much to burn as some have sugested, I always ride in leathers. Rear tyre was changed in Spain at 1600 miles as it was totally destroyed in the mountains of the pyrenees !

Up to 1350 miles now, leaving for a trip through Europe on Saturday so at least another 2000 after that.

Hi mate, I would sugest a slightly harder tyre if you are going to be pushing in the twisty stuff. Or check out dealers along your route and have there numbers available. I had a tyre fitted in Pamplona Spain by Puro Racing, Ducati dealer. I got the receptionist at my hotel to speak to them in Spanish and pre ordered a tyre for when we arrived there the next day. They were awesome and had an immaculate workshop with Spanish championship race bikes. Enjoy your trip.

Dang, my 1199s is a month old and got about 360miles on her, I need to take more time off of work and ride more lol. Thx shawn

Just under 900 miles. Need to get on with it as I'm going to No Limits at Val de Vienne in early July. Wanted to get California Superbike School level 3 done before this as it would be the perfect track intro to the Panigale, but its not going to happen.

Picked mine up 3 weeks ago, had a week of no riding due to work and now just reached 1460... Gutted didn't reach the magic number of 1500, before all the rain due for the next 2 weeks! Errr

Just shy of 300 miles but then I've only had it 4 days now and ridden it just three times.

In that time I have had, no smoking, no hard starting, no hesitations, no oil leaks, no exploded shock absorbers, no rear wheels coming loose, no stalling, no throttle hesitations, no overheating, no brake pad failures, no cooland hoses coming off. So far so good.

It's hot in AZ but the bike runs between 180 and 200 degress with outside temps at 109. Last night I rode and it was about 80 outside and the bike ran right around 176-178 degrees. Those complaining about heat from the exhaust or the rear cylinder need to sack it up. It's not that bad. Try sitting back a bit on the seat and relax.

Other than sounding like a cross between a harley and a tractor I rather enjoy riding it. I think I'll keep it.

I just hit 200 miles and I've had it since the 25th of May. Traffic riding here in Dallas sucks so I have to pick my times to ride. Plus it's up to 100 during the day and I'm not a fan of riding in that type of heat. I need a good weekend morning to hit some of the country roads. Maybe this weekend.

Only 750 miles on her commuting to work now and then when weather permits. Bike sound and feels more stronger as I put more miles on her. Love it.
