Hi everyone,

I have been wanting to cut a cheque for a Panigale for a few months nows, have yet to find the time to walk into a dealership to hand it over.

I am interested to know how tall everyone is in the community who throws a leg over a Pani. Could you give me some feed back on how you find the ergonomics of the bike for your particular height and weight?

So you all know I am towards the small end of the scale at 165cm/5 feet 5 inches, 60kg/140lbs.

Much appreciated!

I'm 5'6 (168cm), 155lb (68kg). I like the ergo on pani but because of my height I'm think about adjustable rear sets to place the knees where they are supposed to be.
Also rear suspension is too stiff for my weight, changing to P setting helped but I'm considering a softer spring in the rear. Otherwise great.

I'm roughly the same height/weight as you (168cm - 60kgs). I find it pretty comfortable with one leg down at the lights. Rear shocks I have a 7.5 with the link set on F. The spring and up front oddly enough with some tweeking seems to work well for me with standard springs. Adjustable rearsets help place the knees up a lil higher.
Hope that helps :)

5'9" 145lbs
I use the performance seat which might as well make me shorter.. so though I can tiptoe the lights I prefer to peg leg it..

6'-3" about 188lbs. No issues at all. I find it more comfortable than my old CBR600RR.

Eventually I'll soften the suspension up a bit.

6'0 175 32" inseam. Oem 899 seat on the bike. Used to have the race seat but I hated the feeling of sitting on top of the bike more so than in the bike as it sits now. I have aftermarket rearsets on the highest peg settings and even still can't get my knees in the proper placement for the tank grips unless I'm on my tippy toes on the pegs. I can easily put my feet flat on the ground but the tank grip placement sucks on this bike. My knees just press against the very back part of the front fairings instead.

5'10" 200lb

Edit:

Almost as comfy as my old 2001 Rsv 1000

Aaaand, never got passed by anyone :D (ask Anne Roberts ;) )

5'10" 132 if I just took a ..... ....and I still get my ... whooped in the straights by these smaller liter bikes with riders that weigh 250+ :'(

I'm 187cm and 90 kgs and I am extremely impressed with how comfortable the bike is.

I do have the Comfort seat though.

177cm, 82 kg. 899 OEM seat and could ride forever. On a road trip this summer I actually put a GS rider to bed.

On the road that this, not at the bar.

Oh, and put him to bed at the bar, too.

185cm - 6'1
107kg - 235

Standard seat is firm, legs are fine, but at town riding there is a lot of weight on your wrists. Wind deflection is no issue with a standard screen

6' 11" and about 310 lbs.

And no that's not a typo, lol.

I know I'm way too big to be on a bike like this, or pretty much any other bike. I've been riding my whole life. Started riding in the dirt and bought my first bike at 18.

Anyway, am I the tallest?

Same height, but 88kg, don't let your height stop you buying one, I think Carlos Checa is our height!!!! He is the same age as me (1 month apart)

For me the bike's ergonomic is perfect. Slightly raised foot pegs.

Height: 5' 11" (approx. 180cm)
Weight: 175 lbs (approx. 80kgs)

Generally speaking, I like the ergos on the bike. I have the OEM stock rear sets with grippier Rizoma pegs. No complaints whatsoever when it comes to leg/knee position while riding.

I will, however, echo Zoenala's comments. During in-town, stop-and-go riding, a considerable amount of weight/pressure is put on the wrists.

I agree on the knees placements. Wish I can have me legs higher so I can put them on the tank grips.

5'6" 160lbs.............just picked it up a week ago....only have 240 miles on it, but so far so good. almost the same riding position as my 2005 st4s. you will love it.

5'9", 155lbs, 30in inseam ... standard peg position is comfy, but will be getting rearsets to bring them up a bit. I prefer a tighter triangle.
