Putting on the tire warmers this am here at Spring Mountain n noticed this. I haven't hit any curbs...n I just had a new rear put on in Vegas. Did they do it on install? Should I care?

It wasn't there before...the owner, who was away at track teaching, is a good guy...I'll show it to him...but obviously can't prove anything...bummer.

Bummer indeed. I have heard that while the S, Tri and R OEM Marchesini wheels are the lightest aluminum wheels you can get for a Panigale, it comes at a price because they are not as strong as th OZ and other aluminum wheel options that are a pound or more heavier.

Do you also ride on the street and do you have any recollection of a big pothole impact of something similar? Or maybe it did happen at the wheel change.

If they didn't do it then they should have noticed it and reported to you, I just found the bottom of my exhaust cover dented after coming back from the dealer but how do I prove they did it as its two weeks ago, same boat!

Definitely from a tire changer bar. Rookie reefer on it getting the tire over the lip trying to get it off.....

I know cuz I have a tire changer myself and gotta be real careful as you can see the rim bend.

Definately from a tire-iron (or whatever they are called in english) and caused by a tire change. We have one of these on one of the extra rear rims we have for the Pani.
A dent that small won't affect performance, or cause any vibrations, so no worries as long as you are not bothered by the look. We are not, since the extra rim isn't used that often..
