Inflation is out of control

Endo with respect, try to keep this out of the personal realm, its beneath you.

Andy is saying that a base V4 with aftermarket bling is better than an SL- yeah right... I am pointing out that you get what you pay for, but a $30 part that does the job of a $100 one is just good business on Ducatis part and gets a bike to the market at a price you can afford since I can't even see you coughing up 250k plus for a scooter that you approaches your idea of perfection and neither can Ducati. As for inflation, everyone has an opinion but even economists cant reach consensus on the real causes or how to control it.

no we know how to control just about every iteration of inflation, it’s just that in this particular case it would require an unpalatable amount of government intervention for todays America.

they pass a bill making the petrol industry a public utility or against excess profiteering Fox News will have everyone in the country thinking their personal liberty is being stripped from them.

Govt intervention, industry and public works helped make America truly great, but that was a long time ago before the FIRE sector hollowed everything out. Watch this space, the solution to price inflation pushed by Wall St and their cronies is always to reduce wages and cut public spending. They are going to do this by instigating a recession so that unemployment will kill the labor market thus reducing wages. The Fed and Yellen are trying to pull the wool over your eyes so that you won’t see that Bidens sanctions on Russian oil, agriculture etc are a total failure and that energy price rises are just plain profiteering by the oil companies who are STILL buying Russian fuel. It’s robber baron monopoly level .... which is why those with money love a good war.

You don’t need to break the bank to have good accommodations at the track. My set up is 7x12 trailer with rooftop A/C towed by Toyota Tundra. Space for two bikes and all off my stuff, I can sleep in it and cool down in a/c after sessions.

I don’t see a lounge, data center, or catering station, how are you managing with this setup?

I’m working with Intech Trailers now on a build. All aluminum and they build anything you want. Doing a flat recessed pneumatic lift in the floor, flat panel air thanks in the floor space (no bulky compressor tank) Moduline Cabinets, full shop, nice bathroom and bedroom. Their build quality is amazing.

My wife has something similar. 26 tons though. Keeps her ponies in it :'D

It has separate sleeping quarters for her staff.

I'm not even making it up!

Thats serious .... right there

The SL is a super cool piece if factory engineering, but I wouldn’t trade my bike for one.

there are almost no modifications that you can make to that bike whatsoever, not even ergonomics….almost every part on that bike is bespoke to it so no aftermarket replacements or upgrades on anything.

it’s almost like they built that bike to show what they could do but with no intention of real human beings riding it. Especially if you are outside of the size range they spec’d it for.

it’s the ultimate collector bike for non-riders I think.
I wouldn’t trade your bike either. You did a fantastic job with it

It is quite depressing how, while there was plenty I didn't like about it, my first handful of years in the Navy had me proud of what I was doing. Felt like I was a part of something bigger than myself.

Then 2019 happened and it has been a catastrophic downhill ever since. The organization has stopped being about war and is now just an arm of the reigning political party. I've gone from proud of my service to embarrassed of my service. Everyone at every meeting ever looks at me like I have a dick growing out of my forehead when I ask, "How does any of this make us better at killing people!?" It's depressing how an organization designed to kill enemies of the country considers you a black sheep because you make heinous statements like, "Talking about pronouns while our enemy tirelessly trains to kill us does not increase our mission effectiveness."

You're ok using someone's desired pronouns if you know what they are?
