Installing termignoni full system on my tricolore

I took the fan and shroud off. Made getting at the front manifold easier.

Didn't wrap the front pipe at all.

Wrapping the rear helps dramatically, even with the small heatshield, its better then stock.

Still gets hot at stops and 1rst gear stuff, but not near as bad.

The wrap definitely helps, i barely feel the heat coming from the exhaust anymore, most of the heat i feel is on my right knee coming from the motor. Yea i didnt take the fan and shroud off, i used a long extension and 10mm flex socket

Apparently there are engine covers that can help with that. Provided graciously by ducatimif you ask. Has anyone tried them?

Thanks a lot for posting pics. I got a few good ideas from your posting pics. I had my SSTK pipe for 2 weeks and still haven't installed it. I will now take a stab at it.

Only question...What was your procedure, (exactly what you did) with the up map? what did you use, if anything?

Thanks.

I used the up-map that came with the kit. Uploaded fine and unlocked my "racing evo" map in my ecu. Now everytime i turn the key on it says "racing-evo"

My Termi full system manifolds off an R model came with the new big CF heat shield. Anyone out there doing the same purchase (off an R model), check to make sure you get the shield bracket (cheap if not included), and the Y pipe that joins the manifolds as they enter the silencer (definitely NOT cheap). There will be numerous fasteners, springs, gaskets, etc. required as well.

Correct. It's not even my bike. I was just showing what the engine heat shield is. Lol. Thanks for clarifying outhouse.
