All kinds of rules.

Both my '97 748 and '99 Triumph ST together ran 300/yr full coverage, low deductible.
But with the 1199, Ins company gets whacked about it being a +liter bike and jacks up the premium though I suspect that speeding ticket I got a few months back also had something to do with it. :)

State Farm told me that the one speeding ticket (72 in a 45) I got on my other bike less than 2 years ago had no affect on my 1199 rate.

YOu guys might consider foremost or dairyland.

With Foremost I've got three bikes full coverage 100/300/50 with $1k deductible. This is for an 05 goldwing, 10 streetfighter, 12 panigale one year premium $1150. Location GA, age 53, no tickets/wrecks.

I'm changing over to Dairyland same coverage for $1005.

Back in the old days USAA had exc. MC insurance, they still cover some places for motorcycles, but when they went to progressive I went elsewhere.

So I'm 26/S/M with SF and was paying $71 a month for 500/500.

I noticed my card said 1198(S) and I asked about that, turns out I'm getting a refund for overpaying lol. The Panigale is cheaper to insure than a SuperSport, but it's a superbike?

The same thing happened with me... I was paying for the 1198s vs the Panigale since SF did not have it in their data base in early 2012.. It is in there system now and I'm paying less in rate... I'm 43 with no tickets and pay $311 yrly rate.. 250/250

Wow, that's cheap. I don't know what my new rate is.

State Farm will tell you all sorts of things which aren't necessarily true. A bit of nastiness with them 20 years ago precludes me from ever again considering them for any insurance coverage.

I thought that USAA stopped covering street bikes and were refering them to Progressive for service members

At least thats what they told all of us about 8 years ago. If they are covering again then I'm adding my bike again.
