@endodoc

Sure dude, feel free. I am sure you are the only one on here with any appreciable type of mechanical knowledge. Thank God we have you.

Please...school us.

Thanks.

NOLA.

Nola, no problem. I understand that this kind of stuff far surpasses your mechanical comprehension abilities. For you I would be more than happy to include not only pictorial representation but stick figure hieroglyphics so it really sinks in.

And no, there are a plethora of individuals here who are very skilled with this sort of stuff. You're just not one of them.

OMFG....YOU DO have more "thank me" posts. Well look there.

I didnt realize my life measure of success was so shallow as to only have 50% of yours. I am going to bash myself in the head with a rock now. Or a handful of cush drives, since I took them off my bike as they are not needed.

NOLA.

Just giving you a bad time my friend. I am posting stick figures however. Just in general.

UPDATE:

Cush drivers will have to be installed first on the flange/cover @ 44Nm, then, they go in the sprocket/carrier.

Order from inside out: spacer / sprocket-carrier / flange / washer / nut

Done deal!

I ran across this post and I realize that it's over a year old, but for those wondering if there should be any lateral movement present in the final drive of the 1199... the answer is yes, and it's not debatable. The final drive components have been specifically designed to allow for lateral movement of the sprocket carrier.
