I've been using race seat, and comfortable. But feeling a bit pushed forward and getting some minor wrist issues. Any idea if comfort is better for this. They are just so close really I have a hard time seeing it, but I've never actually ridden on the comfort. Any noticible difference between the two?

I've had both..the profiles are identical but the comfort seat is slightly softer..but with reference to your wrist issue I think the difference would be miniscule....

Try stomp grips, they will help with the sliding issues... Also, do you have stock footpegs/rearsets, bringing your knees to the tank and being able to grip it has increased my comfort exponentially

I do have stock, but I can generally lock in pretty good. My suspicion is that it is just the difference between the engine braking (even on 3) of the V-twin being more than my old RSV4, combined with lazyness in position when I'm futzing around. But I do get more wrist issues with this than my RSV4 for sure. Nothing unworkable, but I do notice the difference.
