Hey everybody. Just moved to San Jose from Florida. I brought my 1199 Tricolore and my Monster 1100s with me. I've been out on some rides so far, discovering the amazing roads out here.

Looking forward to meeting some other Riders and doing a few track days on the pani.

used to live in SJ in the 80s before coming back to ga. Awesome roads there. THe ride thru the santa cruz mountains is reallly nice. And of course you've got alice's restaurant as well.

Welcome to the Bay Area Thomas ; Quite a bikers paradise.

Some advice:

- Watch your speed on hwy 280 as it is crawling with CHP.
- Sunday morning is the usual meet-up at Alice's Restaurant/Four Corners just off Skyline Blvd. Hundreds of bikers meet up, very friendly and very exciting place.
- Get yourself a ticket (fast) for MotoGP at Leguna Seca.
- Lane splitting is legal here (enjoy it), however be very aware of ignorant out of state drivers who get angry at lane splitters and block passage (common).
- On the rare occasions that it rains here, be extremely careful immediately after rain as due to very poor drainage on the roads it is very common for oil and grease to rise up.

Lots of very good bike shops.
