1299SL is still better by a mile. I haven't seen any used 1299SLs for sale so I'm not sure they have deprecated much. The blue book value is still 85k

Locally in Redondo beach they have a 1299sl with 16 miles on it for 56k. You can see it on cycle trader. Of course there are folks who still have asking prices of 80k but they're not serious about selling their bike.

wasn't there a perk when you first buy it where Ducati send you to Italy for track day with pros?

Seriously, I'm reaching the limit on what I can keep and ride regularly. However, I do find little slots here and there and think, "Hmmm, I bet I could fit a bike in there and get it out enough to get a few 200 mile rides each season..."

If either of you feel generous during the giving seasons, I'm always willing to accept generous gifts. I can do y'all that favor. It's the least I can do! =)

yeah I would love to have the 1299SL but with having the 1299SA that I did some great mods to and only having about 1200 miles on it I cant justify it. I'll wait for the V4SL and that will be the last sports bike to cap off what I have now. then I need to look at different style bikes that are more comfortable to ride.
