Hey guys,

This weekend went to talladega with my dad to do some track work on the panigale and the monster. It was a very fun track day and pretty relaxing. The track is pretty easy and not nerve racking unlike other tracks. The Panigale worked perfectly in every aspect. My tires were a little worn out and the traction control just kept me in line every time. There was a little bit of traffic but it was fun to make easy passes. I was in novice all day but I think I could have gone to intermediate. I didnt make the change since my dad was in novice and I wanted to look out for him make sure the old man wouldnt go down. Anyways here is a little vid. There are a few parts when I was cruising behind my dad or waiting for him but other parts when I flogged it pretty good. This was my second track day this year and third overall. Looking to see if I could squeeze another one before the end of the year :)

PS check towards the end I leave an S1krr in the dust in a straight! :D

Good for you Luis!

So what'd you think of tally compared to Barber, it's shorter and flatter, never ridden the track but been there before, I think next year I'm going to do some of the xactech days there and ALL the barber days they have.

Thanks Chris. Barber is a much better track but tally is good fun too. While barber is a matter of mastering the track, due to its technicalities, tally is more about perfecting your technique. The track is a lot less challenging but makes for a more relaxing ride and you can focus on adding more speed and working your brakes instead of looking for the perfect line to the next blind turn. I would ride it again and I surely will. At 99 bucks is cheap enough to ride it both days too. Be ready to confront more traffic though which is good if you are passing but scary if they are passing you (I experimented that while following my dad even though he was actually doing pretty good). Hopefully I can make it to the next track day so we can go for a good ride.
