pretty sure stock!!! sounds same as press videos with stock pipe...Termis gonna sound deeper, but the stock pipe sounds beautiful

I'm most impressed with the rate at which it revs to redline. Sure it's in neutral, but that is very very fast revving.

Who would request their dealer to leave the stock exhaust on? It's one of the main reasons to get the Tricolore.

How did you work that out bud:confused:

Why on earth would the main reason to buy a Tric be a set of $1999 Termi slip-ons that you can buy for any of the other models

Think it through hey :D

Most keep the stock pipe on during break in....I'm pretty sure they will come from factory with stock pipes

Correct and correct. Typical practise and dealer advice would be to throw them on during the 600mile service.

No real issues either way.

Is there a particular reason for keeping the stock pipe on during break-in? Will putting the Termi on potentially cause any break-in issues? Aside from the added temptation of wanting to wind it out because it sounds better of course.

having your slip on during breaking in doesnt affect it in anny way.....other than as you suggest, temps you to rev it up more than normal just to hear it ;) lol.

From what i've seen tho, most guys just keep on the stock pipe during that period....I mean, when else are you going to use the stock pipes? :p

after you put your pipes on, you'll never wanna go back to the stock ones
