Matte Carbon recommendations for 2022+

What would you recommend for a ceramic sealant? I want to get the illmberger lower fairings but wasn't sure about the gloss finish with ceramic coating, or if it would be better to get the matte with ceramic?

Is matte easier to adhere to? Does illmberger offer decals in the finished product, or can anyone recommend a corse decal kit?

Dr. Beasley's for a matte sealant. You can apply a matte sealant to glossy parts, but not a gloss sealant to matte parts. Dr. Beasley's has some videos on YouTube on how to apply it. You mist the panel with water and with a few drops of the sealant applied to a foam applicator, wipe it on then with a clean towel. They also mention to use distilled water to mist the panel with.

Beware that Ilmberger matte is more of a satin and it does match what Ducati calls matte as they are the OEM for Ducati.

Thank you. Interesting way for application, I figured it was more of a painting process

So would ducati performance be considered satin/gloss? I haven't seen matte DP before

Ducati Performance calls it matte, but it’s definitely more of a satin. If you buy or bought matte parts you want to match the DP stuff you can always use a bit of car polish to bring up the gloss level.
