I thought I'd post this so anyone in the general area could form a link and maybe go out for a ride one weekend. I have been trying to set something up like this ... ROLL CALL !!!! (It'll be cool to see how many in the U.S. have received their bikes also so far)

Im in the MD (Montgomery Co) area, Base 1199 (no ABS), CF swing arm protector, R & G Tail Tidy (yet installed), SBK style grips (yet installed), CF Ducati Tank Protector, CF Front Fender, CF Clutch Case Cover (ordered).

Let me know if you'd like to exchange emails ....


Side note: Im thinking of fitting the bike with CF wheels at some point .... make the base model even lighter!!!
 
Ill have mine this weekend. (after a quick 20+ round trip to MA) and im down in Richmond. A little outside the DMV now but the house i own is in Gainesville VA. Even so i'd enjoy the meet-up just for the photo op alone. Screw that WDW thing in Italy.

1199 Base w/ABS, fender eliminator with wrapped pipe. My list is fairly short. Will need to work on it soon.
 
If I was not crying in the fetal position waiting desperately for news on my bike's arrival, I would def be in......time will tell

Supposedly my 1199 will be arriving today or tomorrow so I may be down to meet up this weekend.

hey girlie, so you put heat wrap on your exhaust under the seat/ tail area??? Im in the process of doing the same thing (as soon as I get my bike back) ... did you wrap the pipes yourself or did you have it done .. did you also remove the exhaust cover?
 
All, there is a great bike night at the Hooters on Rockville Pike on Thursday nights and its usually tons of bikes up there ... lately Cycle Gear (new store location in Laurel, MD) have been sponsoring outside music and prize give-aways at the Thursday night bike nights as well .... I work in the Tyson's area and live in Rockville and this is really close to Tysons, Alexandria, Arlington, Mclean, etc ....
 
Perfect. Im down for riding up to Hooters in Rookville. Only great thing about our Northern VA are is the darn traffic. Thx Shawn

Hello. :D Yup, I (and my husband..well more my husband :p) wrapped the exhaust under the seat. It's a big pain in the ass! There weren't much room to wrap without removing the cover. To remove the cover, everything around had to be removed. Are you getting your bike back soon?

Thanks for the info RepDuc. I'll try to make it out to Hooters this Th if the weather holds up. I look forward to meeting fellow Panigale riders. Anyone up for a 2-3 hour ride on Saturday morning starting in Tysons. The plan is to ride out to Haymarket and the nearby area. So far its just myself and a bud that rides a 999.
 
Good place to meetup for lunch early afternoon rides: Red Horse Tavern in Middleburg (on Rt 50, about 60 miles west of DC). For the morning rides: Common Grounds, right next door to the Red Horse.
Let's do this.
 
Winchester area w/ 1199 Tricolore, lots of great riding out west from Middleburg area! Looks like a good start, good eats too.
