Here is an idea folks

Team Pro Motion is hosting a track day at Summit Point this weekend on both Sat and Sun. Why does'nt everyone here on this forum hook up and ride out there to watch the track day, pick up some tips, check out each others bikes, and enjoy watching new squids be born on the track in the Beginner group?

Lets see how many we can arrange to meet up at several different locations and then all head up to Summit to get a group shot of the 1199 crew and meet up? Virginia folks can meet somewere, MD another area, DC same, etc. The ride out there on Rt 7 is pretty good but 81 is even better. Mapquest it from your area (use Summit Points website to get directions) EVeryone knows where Pentagon City Mall area is right? The HUGE parking lot across from that (Macy's) would be right there under the beltway. Just a suggestion. I will await to see what you guys say now. BTW- Team Pro Motion is a decent group of folks who have all sorts of gear for sale. Glenn Goldman is a cool dude.

That sounds like a fun meet. Was there last week for WERA races.

yes hopefully today and Im going to have them remove the heat shield also .. I spoke to Raffe from Coleman's and he assured me there's no harm in removing the lambda sensor before removing the heat shield and then reconnecting the sensor. But I figured while I had the bike at Battley's for the tire, I'd have them remove the heat shield also ... Do you have any pics with the exhaust wrap?? Does your husband ride also ... my fiancee has been begging me for a ride on the Panigale.

Yeah, my husband rides the Carbon Diavel. He used to ride the 1198 and I used to ride the S2R1000. I decided to change to sportbike and he wanted something more comfortable but with performance. Does your fiancee ride?

Thnx for the pic ... no she doesn't ride other than ride with me!! LOL but she actually likes to get out even more than Im usually ready to ride so ....

Im in the MD (Montgomery Co) area, Base 1199 (no ABS), CF swing arm protector, R & G Tail Tidy (yet installed), SBK style grips (yet installed), CF Ducati Tank Protector, CF Front Fender, CF Clutch Case Cover (ordered).

Let me know if you'd like to exchange emails ....


Side note: Im thinking of fitting the bike with CF wheels at some point .... make the base model even lighter!!!

I hope to join the legions of 1199 owners soon. I have an S on order but no word on arrival date yet. Also in MoCo, MD.

Im about to head up there in a few ... a guy I met at work sitting on a Panigale base also says he will come up there ... hope to see you there ... I'll have on a white Tshirt with Ducati Corse leather jacket ... Spies helmet ... check your PM for more info
 
Had fun at the Hooters Rockville Bike Night

I'll post some pics also of the Hooters dancer girls on the Panigale .. my buddy took some nice photos of them ... they were also dancing with some of the guys after they had a few drinks ... Stay tuned!!!!

If anyone plans on attending next Thursday or have a location for Duc riders or any riders ... let us know and spread the word!!!

Sat ride - If anyone is interested, a small group of us consisting of at least 3 Ducs and about 5 others are meeting at Starbucks in Tysons corner at 10:00 am on Sat for a 3-4 hour ride. We are riding to Haymarket then Middleburg for lunch and back. We taking it easy cause at least two of us are still breaking in the Ducs!

Starbucks is at the TJ Max and DSW plaza at 8381 Leesburg pike Vienna, Va
 
Weather is looking good tomorrow evening. Going to bike night at Hooters Rockville . Anyone interested?
 
Frederick area and only have a Diavel at the moment but hoping to possibly add the Panigale to the stable when I get back from Iraq in September. Still not 100% set since I need some seat time first but I'd definitely be down for the Hooters meet up.
