It wont be a give em hell conversation. I have learned, the hard way, thru the years to just be nice and usually it can be worked out.

I hope they do fix it"¦.but if not, the culmination of the exercise in negotiation will be the words "class action lawsuit" and "Girard Gibbs." I am positive they don't want to relive that one with a new part number.

Don't give up they refused mine the first time to it was only because the dealership knew me and that my bike had never been left outside that they finally caved. Ducati have terrible warranty support you have to dig your feet in to win sometimes.
 
i know Ducati will replace the dash once and then that's it.

For me my bike is never left outside i'm either riding it or it's in the garage and i still developed a blister on my dash from the sun hitting the double bubble when i was in a tucked position and concentrating the sun on the dash, i don't really see a fix.
 
I wonder if SOS Diagnostics could reset the odometer to the correct reading. I know they did it for the RSV Aprilia's when the odo reading was lost to due to a full battery de-charge or disconnect.
