Maybe somebody else had this issue as well (I thought I read about it in this forum). If you have a CF or ceramic heat shield installed, it might happen that you loose one or even all mountings screw while riding.
I guess this is basically due to mechanical movements caused by temperature changes and vibration.
I do not want to thighten these screws very strongly, because they easiely destroy the shield. So I decided for a different approach: changed two standard screws on the lathe and took steel springs to mount the shield in a flexible way. Since then I never lost a screw again and the shield stays were it belongs
