Just got my Mupo shock for my V4R.

Haven't fitted it yet, but I'm going to back to back test it against the Ohlins on my next trackday.

Comes with a 95kg spring as standard, as opposed to the 105Nm on the Ohlins. I ordered a 105kg spring to try out too.

maybe the compression is stiff. we had it reshimed, more hobby racer like.
awaiting the comparison to öhlins...
i believe the mupo is excellent.

Got a kit going on the street fighter. No prior experience with Mupo but people who run it seem to like it. Got this setup from a gentleman who is sponsored by Mupo from their race shop. Anyone looking at the forks remember they are 108 on the caliper spacing not 100.

Not sure. It is the same fork that Pirro used at Barni last year and was built by the same tech. Huge overkill for the project it’s going on in terms of capability (way over the riders head as well) but I got a nice deal on all of it and they sprung it for me at the factory. I got the damper as well.

The Mupo rear has a nicely machined billet body something I wish Ohlins did on the TTX. The TTX cast body always looked a bit off compared to the machined lowers on the RT forks. The Ohlins works shock is beautiful but it’s the price of a small car

Would u guys ever run something like this around your spring or is that dumb cause we’re not driving through the mud

That’s a remote controlled truck^^^

how worried are we about heat? My rear brake fluid reservoir was black by 95 miles, I’m sure the fluids in my crappy base model shock is toast now that I have 800 miles on the bike.

Ask for some help maybe?

how often should that rear shock be rebuilt or have fluids renewed? We’ll see if I can get 500 miles out of the rear brake fluid now that it’s full of a Motul DOT5.1 but we’ll see, I will not stand for beat looking fluids

I don't know the service intervals for the shock, I'd hope they'd be thousands, rather than hundreds, of miles.

if you loose damping because of heat, you will recognize that.
maybe the temp range is part of the design.
design: looks like it is not made for servicing, throw away design.
your choice. i would do regular services at... 5years or so? if it's worth?
i don't know how and if crappy it is.
