, but usually, at 8.000 km done the motor delivers its full power and won't go faster without modifications. At this point, you can bring your bike to the dyno to see what it really has into its guts. Any dyno made before that is just irrelevant, and I am always surprised nobody even points that out while it is a well known fact since decades.
(I do understand why the magazines don't, since they don't keep the bike until they hit 8.000 km to then bring them to the dyno. They just don't tell, and compare dynes from different bikes with different mileage, and they talk like these are absolute numbers wile knowing they indeed are not. But they have pages of ads to sell, so... But the end users and fora commenters don't have any excuse about that.)
I would say that the motor last break-in (2.500 - 8.000) is when you should push it hard like you stole it, not before. After that, just enjoy without thinking !
