I think Ducati NA should not sell the 1199 to obese, fat ..... like those two slobs in the photo. An obese rider on a Panigale is bad marketing.

From all the bravado about top end speed and who has the baddest bike, lies a fat guy with a tiny little weewee.
 
I guess only a real bike with real power like the ZX10R and the S1000RR are the only bikes that can haul us fat slobs to 189mph. Sorry the slow weak 1199 can't do it.
You clowns talk out of your ...... These are not loner bikes. My boy paid $25,000 cash for his 1199S OTD and OneArm ppaid with the pipes like $22,000. You think these guys paid all that $ just so they can bash the bike? Whats going on is after paying all that money for these over prices slow shiit wagon and riding them and one breaking down, they were disappointed.
And another thing, nothing like putting your leg down and feeling that stupid shock poking into your leg. Yeah, great location.
No need for the dash readings, it's way off.

What I don't get is what made you guys believe the Pani would be the fastest bike in a straight line? Anyone who knows a damn thing about Ducati superbikes knows their performance lies on the track when the bike is leaned over. Second, we know the bike has a limiter. So why don't you guys stop dropping coin on new bikes and spend some of that cash to get it tuned to the performance level you want? As for breaking down. There's a know starter issue. Replace the starter (under warranty) and you'll be good to go. Lastly, what did you expect out of a bike with 200 miles on it? It's no where near broken in.
 
While I think most of us can agree on you being fat, I'm certain we have a consensus on you being a complete douche bag.

When a professional driver on Monza gave the Superbikes a go he recorded the following top speeds:

1 - BMW S 1000 RR 298.4 km/h
2 - Aprilia RSV4 Factory APRC 294.0 km/h
3 - Kawasaki ZX-10R 292.9 km/h
4 - Ducati 1199 Panigale 294.5 km/h
5 - Suzuki GSX-R 1000 284.2 km/h
6 - MV Agusta F4RR 287.9 km/h
7 - Yamaha YZF-R1 280.7 km/h

Ergo, it's faster than your beloved Kawasaki, a lot faster than the other Japanese Superbikes and only slightly slower than a S1000RR.

For a twin cilinder, frankly, that is amazing.
 
Onearm seemed ok and we should hold off judgement just because his douche bag friend is being what douche bags due best, being a douche bag.

Seriously the best that can be done here, is ignoring such a person, it drives them nuts. I'm going to take my own advice now.

Of course they would as anyone with a brain would know they offer more wind protection than the Pani.

Putting you 2 on the Pani would be like putting a brick .... house full of .... on a mini bike.:D

That's the same place I got mine and they most certainly did not tell me to "Ride it like I stole it" from the get go. They, and the Ducati tech, urged me to follow the break in procedures, enjoy the bike and ride safely.
