Maybe you can't count either - The Pani has 6 gears Yes that would be one more than 5. And it would help if you didn't use the breaks when trying for top speed. Yes more throttle the faster you go - brakes slow you down.

Why would you buy a 1199 for top speed running? It's a sportbike meant for hitting the curves on track or the road, not top speed, and as many have seen it certainly is not "slow" in its proper element. 181 mph is more than enough for its intended purpose. Stick to the ZX-14..

BTW, I see that he got a full line.
One racer complained about the full line making the Panigale losing 5bhp, and that using the sole slip-ons with the stock line gave the best results.

Anyone witnessed that too?

Wow you nailed them!! Great detective work. This is one of the reasons you should leave facebook to the tweens.

So OneArmedDrugDealer says that:
1: He bought an 1199S without a test ride
2: Thought it had a full Termi system when actually it was just slip-ons & he didn't know the difference
3: Then decides its "slow" because his speedo was only showing 181mph despite his mate on Zx10 sitting on 187mph for 10 seconds at a time behind him & NOT gaining on him at ALL
4: Wonders why bike breaks down when thrashed when not run-in as per instructions
5: Then spends hours posting on an 1199 forum expecting people to accept that the bike is slow by his word alone when his own video evidences clearly shows otherwise
6: Pretends he really doesn't care & is just gonna sell the bike by using the sales tactic of slagging it off to the most likely buyer base on the net

Great work!! I sincerely apologise for calling this guy a drug dealer when in actual fact he's an admitted bike thief who's done time & is still living off his stolen bike money.

I so badly want to let this thread die, but it is bigger that just some fat Ducati haters but bike thieves! I was a victim of a bike thief and I can tell you how much it sucks. We are dealing with some of the lowest forms of a human here.
