Agreed. Absolute visual preference. No functionality or performance enhancement. The stock ones isn't as hideous as some, but I think cleaning up that single-sided swingarm is a must.

Even if you purposely tried to make the bike hideous, you'd still have the sexiest bike on the road.

Totally agree. I really like the look of the DP carbon fiber one but don't like the price. It is still next on my list though, even at $250+. I just think it is the best looking "stock" option. But damn, that's a lot of money for a shorter plate holder.

I went for the Rizoma option........ still not cheap though.

And it's still pretty close to ridiculous UK/European number plate laws so I dont get too much attention from the fuzz!

Can't believe the size of those UK plates - the cops must be blind

Believe it or not, that's actually an inch smaller in height and width than a standard plate, the reflectors are also a legal requirement!!

Welcome to the forum. I have the leggera grips on my 1199 and are better than the stock.

no thanks on all those fender options. i went with comp werks std bent it so it lays flat and used the integrated tail light. if you look close you may see my plate. im a progrip 717 guy myself.

Agreed, I did the same tail option but didn't do the bend and tuck thing

I think I prefer it over the NRC one I ordered...does it come with turn signals?

It's two separate peices from comp werkes. The integrated tail light has the signals built in and then you need the fender eliminator kit that will provide a license plate holder and plate light.

yes if you get the integrated tail light then you dont need the second half of the fender eliminator you just need the license place piece. otherwise you get turn signals that go in your tail vents which you dont need.
