Well went for my first proper ride today, the weather was perfect, did around 180km and I am pleased to say its still a Ducati :)

I traded my Streetfighter in on this thing and I was really worried that I was going to miss the anti-social behaviour of the Testastretta but I needn't have worried. This Duke still vibrates, still pops and crackles (albeit muted by the stock exhaust at the moment), still shakes the mirrors and most importantly, puts a smile on my face. I made the mistake of going for an S1000RR after my 1198S and realised my mistake very quickly...Anyway, this ts still a Ducati! Yay!

.... same colour as the car I guess ;)

Haha, after reading these forums I am petrified that the edges are going to lift off the tank so that tape is staying on until tomorrow!

Its not a cup car. Its a 997s with what looks loke a factory Aero kit. GT3 has vent in front of hood and stinger (not seen in this pic )exhaust. Your correct when you say they are a lot of Variants. Porshe website now has the new 991 GT3 cup car in a video which means the street version is probably a year away. But this a Pani forum so PANIGALE PANIGALE PANIGALE PANIGALE!PANIGALE PANIGALE PANIGALE PANIGALE!PANIGALE PANIGALE PANIGALE PANIGALE!PANIGALE PANIGALE PANIGALE PANIGALE!

Actually, I have the clear tank protector and with the exception of one tiny bubble that the 'OCD' part of me can't stand; I have been very happy with it.

I think, however, I mounted it a bit higher than Ducati planned for it to be, so perhaps that is why it is staying put.

Sorry to drag on the porker thread jacking, but Porsche call it Aero Kit Cup.

Tequipment 997

I'll get my coat now

To me a cup car is a race car which that is not but you are correct they call it a cup kit. Idk why b/c it doesnt look anything like a cup race car. Wing is much larger and lighter on the race car

I was adding a photo while you responded. I'm not sure about it yellowing. I guess if it does I'll just get a new one. The lower part of the tank where I think it was designed to protect is OK so far. This was just a temporary one till they corrected whatever was the problem with these stickers.

On my last bike, I waited a few weeks before putting one on and got a couple of minor scratches that really pissed me off. I wasn't going to make the same mistake again.

I'll roll with this until I need to replace, but this is good for now & don't see that changing unless it yellows I suppose. I can tell you that it's been just fine since September.

I think you would have stoppped the car talk if you typed just one more Panigale, but then there is that last word syndrome. :D

I think someone else mentioned this in another thread but tapeworks.com has a wide selection of decals and is where i got my corse decals from. They have a huge range of colors and i got mine very fast and they were perfect. I got mine in pearl white.

Any more pics of the Pork?

That is my fav colour for the GT3.

I don't think I would ever have considered Riviera Blue, it was just that this car was at the right place at the right time (used) but the colour has really grown on me now!

Do you have to take the fairings off to install the Evotech guards?

I have the upper and lower evo's too. Really like them, went on in a few minutes and the fit is good.

I've looked on ebay for the corse decal without luck. Could you post a link?

EDIT: Nevermind, found it.
