I'm pretty excited about my Christmas Gift to myself. Just received the vin on my 2014 1199 R. Hopefully will be ready for pickup before the 25th.

After selling my '12 1199 tri for a '12 factory RSV4 and purchasing a second RSV4 w/Ohlins 30 mil and ttx for the track, I decided that the 1199 was the better bike for me. I'm happy to be back trolling this forum and hope everyone has a happy holiday!!

I felt the rsv4 felt like a tank on the track (just my opinion) and the 1199 allowed me to naturally fall into solid body position vs making a conscious effort on the Aprilia.

Yeah too long lol. The aprilia has been on my mind since last year when I was trying to decide between one and my '12 tri. What can I say I'm tired of neckties and fruitcake under the tree lol :)
