ahahah, glad my non Ohlins ;) shock made it , yes. I don't see how they would ever touch pavement, the rearsets would save it .... unless crazy crash maybe

Good to see your rear Ohlins shock made it through the crash OK ;)

I have binned both my Panigales and in both crashes the rear shock remained untouched .
The second crash the shock did not touch the ground but the fire took it out just to rub it in .

Ouch !!! I don't care for Ohlins forks, since I dont track, but wish they came standard with Ohlins rear

Interesting , when I was first looking at the bike even the guy at the dealer was telling me to go Base over S because he felt the base forks were better
The base forks are excellent in fact better than the S forks . You would be better off replacing the rear shock .

Even more interesting i hear the base forks are crap and they fail a lot...

video was made for fun last night on my computer, honestly dont really give a rats ass what anyone thinks of it.... the fairings already custom painted. No the bike isn't an R .. and fairings say it.... yes. Real ducati people know and thats what matters. i dont care ... its my bike..... i'll paint it polka dots if I want. Those quotes are from people posting on the pics on facebook and friends and just included them in the video. Anyways whatever.... bike is bad ass. Dont hate.

The R is a special letter in Ducati. do not put the letter R if its not an R. it is like placing the v8 badge on a v6 automobile. this is just my opinion and since it is your bike you can do anything you want with it. I like your bike's color scheme and the clutch cover. is the clutch still the wet oil bathed type or did you buy one of those dry clutch kit?

thats a wet clutch still..... body already pre done with R , wasn't gonna wait for a new body to be built for me, guy ordered this and cancelled. this is a made to order exotic part...... I'll keep it with the R , honestly I dont care what it says, when someone asks me what it is I tell them its a base bike. I'm not trying to pass it off as an R i'm honest about it

I love the bike. I have an opinion on just about everything, but in this case let's just leave it at "I love the bike" as you seem to have plenty of other opinions on this thread to keep you busy for a while :)

thanks
