New addition to the garage

It's starting to get a little crowded and I've already had to kick out all 4 wheel vehicles.

This beauty in a very nice, shiny primer white was purchased for my wife to allow her to experience the same level of excitement I have for riding my Ducati. We got rid of her CBR600 in the process.

I'm not a white fan...but I have to say that it looks great in person. I'm just glad its not the same as mine.

Nice addition. I'm not a fan of the white/red scheme either but to each his own.
And good for her for not listening to some of the nay-sayers on this forum prattle on about the 899. I think they're neat bikes in their own right and not, (as some call 'em) "baby" Pani's.
I gotta get to the dealer and test ride one soon. I'm really curious about 'em.

i just couldnt say no to the ferrari of bikes famous red color. just couldnt do it.

Congrats to you and your wife! The 899 looks to be a terrific bike and, due to its ABS, traction control, and variable rider settings, should make for a nice street package upgrade over the 600. Be sure to post some pictures of the two Panis together.

I see your haven't been drinking Ducati Cool Aid.

Ok with me though as I have an AMG and a Tri. Personally love the brand.

you know what man, im 26 and finally in my career (international logistics) and i stretched pretty hard for my AMG...then i got a small raise and stretched even further for my 13 Pani...its just been something i have wanted more than anything since i was about 10...a red ducati superbike...and you know what...at the end of the month when i have money for gas or food...i just get gas and buy roman noodles...because nothing makes me happier than my red "Ferrari" of motorcycles hahahaha...FML. BUT i had to go with the classic ferrari red. you know the pictures with the captions "it was me or the bike..." and they have the girl doing something else and the guy show riding his bike...ive lost (i say lost but idc) 3 girls in the past year because of my love for riding this bike and i couldnt care less...hahaha

It grows on you lol.

Wasnt my first choice but loved it on my 848 and would now not have it any other way.

With that said, not sure I would swap out my black rims for red on my white 1199

Congrats, i think it's cool that you and your wife both ride together. My wife has no interest in even riding on the back with me, which is fine with me

I have a Tri-Colore, so not a huge fan of the white Pani's, but really like the red rims on the white bike. Has anyone seen these red rims on a red, black or a Tri-Colore 1199?

Definitely blessed that she likes to ride...although she is fairly new to it. I just really didn't want to get the Ducati for her first since I new there would be a few mishaps.

Now that she is riding dirt bikes more often her confidence is moving along a lot quicker.

I'm not going to suggest any mods at this point so she decide what she likes. I did have AMS install the lowering link and adjust the suspension ...more to help her confidence than anything
