Helimot.com handles daytona boots in the US.

Daytona has two evo boots, the evo security which are very expensive and the evo sports which are about half the price of the security.

Exc. boots you can order from Helimot, located in San Jose.

Which Daytona, and where do you purchase them? I have had trouble finding an online retailer with much selection. By Evo, you mean the Strada rainboot??

How about these then if ya want to stick to Tri colours? Just been to a site to see their range of Held gloves after seeing Zvez"s and the company dont do them anymore, but spotted these Spidi"s. I must say i"ve a couple of Spidi jackets and they are exceptional. But i"ve never got on with their gloves. Never get a pair that are just right, like I can with A/Stars.

I'm partial to HELD gloves, exc and very durable. On my third pair TITANS

HELD Titan Gloves Black from SportbikeTrackGear.com
Zvez thanks for bringing the Held brand to my attention. I just found a UK dealer doing the whole range. Was just checking out the Sixty Six textile jacket, smart and retro, waxed cotton very similar to Belstaff Mojave and half the price. Bet ya its more than a match if not better than the Bel. Starting to see the light these days, some of these big brands just dont cut it anymore, heard a few moans bout that brand Rossi wears. Few years back that stuff rocked. Seems the more coverage and advertising these "Big Brands" get the more the product slips down the scale of quality/durability. My eyes have been opened.;)

be careful on the HELD clothing, it's very well made, but is made in China, the gloves on the other hand are made in Europe. I've never had any of the clothing, the gloves are first rate tho. They originally only did gloves, few years ago expanded into clothing.

Nice kit.

I would shoot for the RF-1200, it isn't comparable to that model Arai. THe Corsair V would be my choice though.

i had the 2 piece rs taichi suite for the street, loved it, thinking about this:

Gotta agree with Zvez on the Held gloves. I've worn them for over 20 years (not the same pair, obviously) and I really appreciate the quality and available size range (I have large hands). I've crashed three pairs of 'em, one pair three times, and have yet to scuff so much as a finger. (Yes...I race)

Boots....I have very wide feet and for years I suffered ill fitting boots so that I could get any at all. Several years ago Sidi came out with it's "Mega" line, which have a wider foot beds than their standard boots. They are simply a God-send. My current set are the Vertigo Mega Gore (Goretex lined) and they're absolutely great! Not only do they fit well, but they're as close to properly waterproof as I've ever experienced.

^^this. I've got the RS Taichi GMX Motion 2-piece for the street and would've gone with their one piece for the track if I didn't need custom. (They also do custom but the turnaround time was very long at the time.). If you stick with their higher end line you'll get their thickest Japanese cowhide - cows that are bred just for their hide. They lower end models use Brazilian cowhide which is supposedly still very good. Taichi goes to much greater lengths to not compromise the strength of their gear, such as usung larger single panels of leather and use a special coloring process vs drum dyeing the leather like everyone else which weakens the leather.

+1 on Held gloves too
