Let us try to keep this discussion to Panigale V4. Personally I am not thrilled with the looks but it's clearly a big leap forward in performance.
clearly ?but it's clearly a big leap forward in performance.
Those are custom made swingarms made by Pierobon, they don't have much in common with the stock swing arm. If SSSA were better they would run them on the GP bikes.clearly ?
you kidding right ?
Did you watch WSBK first race ? 2 years old bike with SSSA has won top 6 places.
Yep. When sorted more load on the front. CG moves forward. It'll be faster in the end. Those are custom made swingarms made by Pierobon, they don't have much in common with the stock swing arm. If SSSA were better they would run them on the GP bikes.
Ducati relying on electronics could bite them in the butt. Like Josh Brookes said that it’s kind of a bandaid. Fortunately, Ducati has good electronics engineers in WSBK to tame the bike. Not so much in BSB. You don’t hear of any tests or reviews talking about how easy the new V4 is without electronicsLet us try to keep this discussion to Panigale V4. For racing, the standard swing arm is superior because you can change gearing without affecting the ride height. And then that has a cascading effect on trail, swing arm length, CG and handling.Yep. When sorted more load on the front. CG moves forward. It'll be faster in the end.
Ok. But CG forward allows more trail so you can get the front loaded with the bike less twitchy. For racing, the standard swing arm is superior because you can change gearing without affecting the ride height. And then that has a cascading effect on trail, CG and handling.
Everything is adjustable and custom made on a WSBK, and is adjusted for the riders riding style. Triples, frame bushings, swing arms, fuel tanks, shock linkage, everything, only the frame and engines cases are stock.Ok. Ducati is dominating in WSBK (aka Ducati Cup) now due to max revs and max fuel flow not bc of the SSSA or significant handling changes
No şhit. Everyone has max revsNope.
BMW's max revs are the same.
