New Termignoni Up-Map?

Ducati Forum

Help Support Ducati Forum:

Just called my dealership (TT Motorcycles Ducati) in Clinton Township, Michigan.

They say they do not have the new maps yet.

:confused::confused::confused::confused::mad:

Was hoping to get it updated before I put her away for the year.....oh well....

I had my dash replaced today (fogging) and the new upmap applied on my 1199 ABS with stock Exhaust.

Bike is a lot happier between 1 and 3k rpm, and the flat spot between 4 and 5k has gone.

I'm happier with it than I was before!

Frasers in Perth are disavowing any knowledge of the map.....even though a couple of people here have said Frasers Sydney has updated map???

I did a little putting around, there certainly feels like more mid-range. Glad I wouldn't leave the tech alone lol.

Definitely better with the stock exhaust. The fuelling is much better at low rpm and around town below 40mph. I think the mid range is a little improved too, but its not so obvious. I'm almost certain the low RPM fuelling is getting better the more miles I do post upgrade, it was almost smooth on the way home tonight. Is the ECU self tuning?

The difference is marked and the ecu reflash is a must if you haven't already had it done.

I'd really like to see a pre/post dyno for the same bike.

THANKS! Too bad is f-ing cold in Chicago... :(

I would like to get this done before I winterize the beast. (Hmmmm)

Why don't you guys rent a truck or trailer and tow it in if you have to? I tow mine because the drive is so far...

Got mine done today. All dealers in US should have the maps by now as my dealer had it Tuesday but did not know it till I press him on where it was. He called Ducati and found that he had it all the time.

Anyway an up date on what the map does. Shifting from 1st to 2nd is improved. Mpg is also improved, was getting around 30 to 32 mpg now it up to about 40, way better. Also no surges in lower RPM.

2nd-ed, in addition mid-range is not as disproportionate to the upper-range as before.

Although I think the dealer damaged my right Termi can, but it's too late now to prove it :(.

Just got mine done, my dealer said he has already done 3 others. Insane difference in low gears. Can putt along 4th gear at 35 without it jerking. Very smooth/powerful low to mid. Took 10 minutes, no charge.

I took mine out for a spirited ride. The front came up so much easier and higher than before it caught me off guard when I was screwing around in town on the way out. lol

OMFG!!! this map is so good!!!! its like a different bike now, I can now enjoy it even at legal speeds!!!! WOW!!!!

p.s my bike has stock everything

I agree there seems to be more torque down low and it is much smoother around 3000 to 4000 rpm.

Made it much easier to hold a cruising speed at say 110kph on the freeway.

And no charge. Mine is also stock as a rock.

How can that be possible? Isn't it a download? I wonder about those guys sometimes.

I would LOVE to know the exact changes - like everyone says, night and day down low. It would really shudder if you rode slow in a low gear. Just amzing chnage.

I don't know, I really wonder about them too, if they know what they're doing half the time.

Regardless it's too late for me now, bike is being stored this week, and it's too cold to ride. If they don't have it by the Spring i'll be shocked!

Burrr, cold up there! We probably should start a thread on cold storage, what to do depending on how long it is inactive. We have strange weather here, I could be going for a short ride in Jan or Feb :D
