I have been riding for 30 plus years and today I made a purchase that I hope gives me plenty of joy and fun on the road and the track, 2013 Panigale R, 0 miles. Got it home and covered it up in the garage. I traded a 2014 s1000rr in on it and I am so glad. Don't get me wrong, the bike was nice but the Ducati is much more me. Anyways, what I need is a list of tools that I will need for this beast at the track. You know to remove front and rear wheels etc.... Also need swing arm stand and front stand. If anyone has some suggestions on what I need to put in the box please let me know. Also, I am 5'10" tall and weigh 205-215 and was wondering if anyone has some preset codes for suggestions to setup the suspension. I know most of it is done but for track purposes just some go bys. Tracks I visit mostly are, Roebling, Carolina Motorsports Park, Jennings, Road Atlanta. I appreciate any responses, suggestions etc....

Thanks
Mike

Go back to the BMW, were all switching to the S1000RR....JASSSS KEEEDING!! :p:D

Congrats and welcome to the DarkSide!

Congrats and welcome to th forum. The R was definitely the way to go. There is pretty good knowledge here amongst the rambling and ranting. I am working with a guy on the forum that races the Pani and he helped me transform the handling to almost telepathic. Still, ( and will always be) a work in progress, but an awesome machine when it comes together.

Good luck.

Welcome to the forum Mike!
I track my S model. The only tools I've needed so far has been Pitbull stands, proper sized sockets for the wheels(55mm, 30mm), and an 11mm wrench for the clutch bleed( a must). Maybe some Allen keys for the plastics but that is all I've needed. You'll get a lot of good replays here I'm sure. Good luck and welcome again.

Not a doctor at all

Sorry but those are my initials. Actually I practice law. Mostly criminal defense and some serious personal injury. We mostly focus on DUI cases and drug cases. Not much of a suing type lawyer, only if necessary, I disagree with the way a lot of lawyers practice these days. Sue happy! I think there is a time and place and case for a law suit but not when someone stumps their toe at the local public dock because a board was out of place. Anyway enough of that. If anyone has any legal questions, please feel free to call, 8433272111. I will try to help you out or at least point you in the right direction.

Question to all R owners? The R is shipped with two boxes of extras. 1 box contains the race exhaust, chip and cable and filter, box 2 has extra fairings for the hands, rear foot pegs, rear seat, taller windscreen, mirror block off plates and your manuals. What else come if anything? Just would like to know, here's why.

Called dealer that I have bought several bikes from and make my pickup appointment. I asked them if they could go ahead and install the race exhaust. Get there sign everything and he takes me out to the bike. I don't see the stickers that are always on the exhaust. I ask about it. He says well we did not get it done. I said okay where is it? Well another problem, we have lost the box or it did not ship. Either way we will get your exhaust. Today says it was never shipped and is on its way. So that all said, I am just wanting to make sure I get all the goodies that come w the R. Do you get a second front seat that is a suede material that is not so slippery or is that a purchase product? Just want everything I paid for and some of you should know. Thanks

Also selling a 2013 zx6r, Pirelli tires new, 5k miles solid black, stock except slip on pipe. Nice ass bike. Will sell for $7500 cash firm. Set up for street

Thanks,

I got most everything you posted except no filter, cable?

Edit: Make sure you get the thumb drive for the DDA also.
