The stock Showa kit is 100% amazing. I was super impressed, pretty much as good as my through rod Mupo setup. It's only weakness, changing springs is a bit messy. That was my only reason for swapping out. I was four seconds off BSB Superbike lap record at Brands Hatch GP circuit with the stock Showa (different weight springs). I change springs regularly at race weekends, so was only for convenience.

So, I'd go wheels! Chuck some wets on the old wheels 👌

Where were you able to get different weight springs for the stock Showas?! I've been looking for stiffer springs and I keep seeing a full cartridge (Ohlins) as the only option.
