Oil drain plug safety wire

Wired mine this past weekend at Chuckwalla...just ran the wire to the plastic molding 2 inches from the plug. Is there a better anchor? Any pics?

Also, to wire the caliper bolts...are you using aftermarket bolts instead of the round-headed stock ones?
 
I'd be curious how others are doing it - I drilled a small hole in the black plastic and ran the wire to one of the exhaust hangers. I drilled the stock round-headed caliper bolts.

I use the Kraaitech Racing plug. I'm going to the shop later today, so I'll take some pics of my caliper bolts.

Just logged onto that Proti site. Crap. Time to get the card out....
 
Caliper bolts: ProTi was the first choice for me. I did the safety wire this way...
I use shrink tubes to protect the calipers from vibration scratches from the wire.

I didnt get a shot of the oil drain plug, but got some shots of the brake calipers.

We are locking the plug as in the picture. In this way it can be done with or with the transition plug. When using the transtion piece, you can lock the plug to the transition piece, which 2 small holes at the front side to put the locking wire thru.
