I still use my 12c. There is an app for it? I hope so. it is a great piece of kit, in my view.

HP4 - Not has heavy as a base S1000RR, but heavier than the panigale. Does everything great. Very planted & it's easier to push this bike harder.

1199 - Much more aggressive and brutal than the HP4.

While they are both liter bikes, they are completely different and you really can't compare the two. I enjoy them both in very different ways.

Trust me you will be very happy with both & make sure you get the comp model, more $, but so worth it.

It's about a 12 month wait here for a Comp so I put a deposit on the non-comp so I can get it sooner, will add on carbon/rearsets & levers, will just have to live without the blue wheels!

Would love to hear more about it sometime.

dont worry md isnt big i can be over today take either one off your hands to save you from countless headaches of what to ride you can thank me later.
 
Love the comp model, would love even more to try one for a day!!! When I get rich Ill have both bikes, of course if that ever happens it will be two newer bikes cause it aint happening anytime soon lol
 
I always thought the BMW S1k was a pretty damn good looking bike, but now that you put it side to side, it looks like it came out of an alien's ... the wrong way.
 
yea the HP4 is an ok looking bike, but thats not why im drawn to it. I would say it isnt very attractive visually...even worse the base models
 
The reason it's asymmetrical is because the Germans believe in form following function. An example is the venting in the side fairings.
 
Congrats on the HP4. I also own both but just the 2013 base S1000rr and a base 2012 Pani. Enjoy.

BMW gives you heated grips and Ducati gives you both seat and knee heaters :D
