To clarify to the whiny folk who want a breakdown:

$23995 for the bike (S w/ ABS)
$495 freight
$500 setup
$2230 TTL (Tax, Title, License)
 
1199 tricolore - AED 139,900/- = US$ 38,094/-
registration -AED 500/- = US$ 136/-
insurance - 6400/- = US$ 1742/-

total AED 146,800/- = US$ 39,972.77

S w/ ABS I paid 26k. That is the OTD price and includes all fees, handling, and taxes. Not a great deal but this is a brand new bike in high demand so I did not expect much.

$22k OTD for a base w/o ABS in AB, Canada.

($1k insurance for the year, full coverage, mid-20s, one ticket five years ago + one claim around that time as well.)

No shipping no set up charges. Discount on accessories and free install. Discount off MSRP, but sworn to secrecy by sales manager (who has been a riding buddy for about a decade).

I negotiate price on virtually all large purchases. What is the point of paying more than is necessary?

I cannot get over these prices people are listing here, especially this one and the dude overseas who paid near 40k (thanks for listing US dollar equivalent too since not too many know the conversion chart in their head)

All of this makes me feel incredibly special to have known my dealer as a personal friend for 12 years! Anyone still looking for a bike and willing to drive to Virginia send me a PM when you are ready to buy (not just price shopping please, if I send a referral you have to be ready to pull the trigger on deal!)

BASE NO ABS at Melillimoto in Ocala FL.

Paid MSRP = $17,995.99
Sales tax = about $1,074.21 ( if I remember correctly )
Tag/title = $200.00
Battery and tire fee = like $8.00 or so
Total = ( unless my math is screwed up ) $19,278.20

Put $5,000.00 down
Was financed at 5.99 apr for 60 months
Payments came to $275.00 a month.

Tag/title = $0.00
Total = $23,995.00

Put $0.00 down

Payments came to $463.79 a month.
