I paid my Panigale Base straight out with cash $19,533.70 USD

A few points here.

The dealer may give you a slightly better deal on your bike if you finance it because they get credit through the bank that they use for selling bikes and sharing interest.

If you pay outright you may not get the greatest deal because of the one above not being fulfilled. When you finance a bike you create a better bond with the bank and the dealer. Hence a lower cost.

However, IF you pay outright, you aren't required to have full coverage (not that that is a good idea, but good idea when you want to store it for the winter :D and lower your insurance cost even more with just comprehensive insurance) plus no interest to pay, plus lower insurance rate.

These are a few things I talked to the dealer about prior to buying the bike. If I wanted the initial cost of the bike lowered, good to finance it. If you want no bills, interest, lower insurance rate its gonna cost a little more for the bike. Being as it is my second bike in the last 2 years I have bought from them, and the countless services I have had done, gear, etc. and selling another Panigale to a customer (interesting story)... It has made them very happy and we have a strong dealer/customer relationship. I get major discounts on services (only paid $140 for my 15,000 service on the 848), a free dyno, some free gear here and there, etc.

For 2013 Standard ABS OTD in North Florida I paid $19250 including my 7% tax and all costs. Not bad considering some dealers in Florida don't even have the 13's in stock yet!
Na Na Na Boo Boo stick your head in doo doo I got an oil window cut out on my lower faring that's about all the 13 gave me over the 12 ;-) so I gotta make a deal over it hahaha

Odd thing, I have 2013 on the floor, and the Tricolore's have the sight hole, but the 1199 S ABS doesn't..... hmmmmm.... I guess it depends on when in production the 2013 where made!

AntiHero - you're right.... (breath-------breath) lol. I think it would have been better to know what are people paying in reference to the MSRP. I hear people paying over MSRP and was wondering if anyone got a deal "under" MSRP ;)

I bought my base model at dealer cost plus $300 setup fee. Dealer cost for base is $15,800, oh, and they delivered it to my front door too:D

I dont have the S i just have the base 2013 ABS and it has the hole. Whats the build dates on your 2013? mine is 09/12....

I am looking to buy a black 2014 S soon. Has anyone here recently bought one? If you have or if you know someone that has, what kind of an out the door price should I be looking for?

If your ready to buy Sebastian will make you a deal. I was talking to another dealer who would not budge on anything. I called Sebastian. He said give me a bit. Called me back and had a great deal on a 2014 with no freight 2k cheaper then what the other dealer wanted on a 2013. Plus he got me out of my Ninja.

If I buy another ducati or an agusta I will for sure buy from him again. Cool dude and no bull. Gave me a super cheap deal on a comfort seat too.

He likes to keep bikes moving and not trying to get rich off every sale.
