ok lets be clear first of i was joking about the moderator thing even though it did happen and it was a good talk thanks zvez. since then i posted a few things as i have had the flu but my posts were all about either racing or the lithium batteries and a few other comments.

to aloha mark you lucky man living in hawaii (so jealous about that) i hope your oil leak is the basic one where they fix it and you have no other problems.

to nola FREE COUNTRY I will be on any forum i please. i told you you want to buy my bike 22k its such a good deal buy it or shut up

You are the joke Mark - still hanging on a forum of the best bike ever made. I have a BMW K, and I would rather have an oil leak then petrol anyday. And BTW, only a handful of Ducati's have an issue, that's why there is no recall. Make your excuses, but you still hang here, not there.

Making a sarcastic comment about someone potentially crashing their bike is a bit much n crossing the line. Riding is dangerous in itself. No matter how much of a tool or a ...... someone can be on the forums, that still doesn't warrant any reason to make such a stupid comment about them crashing.

For the record the s1000rr is included in the recall. 2010-2011

It's a pity BMW can't fix their styling department

I suppose BMW feel they have to atone for making the most ugly bikes in the world, by fixing all their broad based, long running/on going design .... ups.
....... over rated amateurs.

I think it's great that glorious DUCATI manages to constantly improve their bikes whilst managing to stay cutting edge, innovative, and industry leaders for such a small capacity championship winning boutique manufacturer

And they don't have to keep fixing up the same sort of poorly designed/manufactured half baked .... that BMW do

Yep, DUCATI certainly punches well above their weight

It didn't take me 2 hours to change my oil and I took my sweet time doing it. They might charge that, but I don't see why it takes that long.

Why did you need to change your coolant already?

There were some 1199's that had 97% glycol coolant added by a drunk assembly worker...very corrosive and needs to be gone...

i changed my coolant cause i wanted to try engine ice because of the way the bike gets hot. it was a good experience just took a long time. i wrote a review on the engine ice.

Having done it, changing the coolant isn't so easy. I think someone did it without removing the front nose fairing and all the other body work bits and pieces. I did it the bodywork removal way.It's very time consuming as lots of different pieces have to fit.

How long will it be before this thread morphs into, "my dad can beat up your dad"
