Hey guys,

Thought I'd start a new thread here.

Picked up the FE today. Looks a bit different than most you've seen. I have been really struggling with the red wheels since the bike was unveiled back in July. Dave was nice enough to sell me his anniversario wheels and rotors which were immaculate (thx Dave!) and i had them mounted.

Changes the look quite a bit. Probably not for everyone but I've got the red ones and a new black set off of a panigale R so i can change things up when i want.

The bike is pretty amazing. Only 40 miles thus far but i can already tell the motor is something special. The exhaust note is a bit quieter at idle and low RPMs, but starts to sing as the revs climb. Should be a lot of fun exploring her capabilities!

Didn't have great sunlight for these pics but you get the idea.

Cheers! Kevin

Looks much better with those wheels. The stock red wheels are hideous on that bike.

The problem with the red wheels is they make the green look out of place. Now, those anniversario wheels really bring out the green, the red is not over done, and it looks damn good! So good I think you may have pissed off a bunch of FE buyers cause now they will be buying a set of anniversario wheels!

Those wheels are so much better. They compliment the exhaust and clutch cover so nicely. Now expose the rear cylinder by taking the engine cover off!

Those are definitely better than the red. I think that the 1299 S wheels would probably look best though.

Thanks guys. the Anni gold does match the exhaust and clutch cover pretty well.

It's more of a titanium shade of gold rather than pure gold if that makes sense which tones things down a bit.

HAHA! I hope not. The red wheels have been growing on me but gold has always been my first choice. Luckily it's an easy fix!

Im Loving this bike... but $40K DAMN!!!.. ill stick with my 1299 S

Congrats man, you'll love it

Kevin, it's quite a beast. the speed is seriously deceptive given the different exhaust note. I was blistering down the highway at go to jail speed and literally had no idea. have you noticed this as well?

Very much so, having had the Akra on my 1299 S and my Panigale R, this bike is quiet..... however, the engine is insane, the way it makes its power and the speed or builds is other worldly. I wait in anticipation for the Race exhaust.

It is a nice bike, but too overstated for me.

It looks far better with the gold wheels, I would of gone for matt black M9RS's if I was paying out for wheels......... on a brand new bike.

Really good looking bike! Congratulations! I have nothing against those OEM red wheels (anymore) but those anniversario wheels seems to be a great match to the titanium exhaust system!

Crazy loony selling those gold Anniversary wheels :) Bike looks amazing mate. I decided not to go for one at the last minute partly due to the road exhaust but mainly due to other commitments but the more of them I see the more I like it. Ultimate Panigale for non SL prices for sure.
