Haha! I meant stuff that is already IN the stable, not what else do I need to add!

I've got a sickness and you guys aren't helping.

Best therapy for your sickness is to track your bikes and enjoy it like it was meant to be.

Appreciate that comment. I really didn't even think about that when I started this thread and I really hope it doesn't come across like that. But now that it's been raised I can see how it might rub people the wrong way. For those of you it does please forgive me. That has not been my intention at all. Far from it.

It started with cleaning out my garage a few years back and I had to move some of the bikes around. I was walking back in and thought this is a pretty cool pic. :D

The thread kind of morphed from there. I received a number of PMs to share more pics. Enough so that I decided to do it on this thread rather than PM so many people individually. I also decided to offer up some good deals on bikes I was selling so folks on the forum could get the first shot. Started with the Panigale R and most recently included the aprilia.

I'm a motorcycle enthusiast through and through. Been blessed to have been able to experience some cool bikes over the years that people don't see every day. I think these things should be experienced by all who share my passion. If there were some better way to make that happen I would and I have had forum members contact me and even ride some of these bikes. Just can't do that for everyone for obvious reasons.

Sharing pics and videos I think is the next best way, albeit a distant second to actually putting them on the road and riding them!

I realize I don't contribute any real technical data on this thread. I do try and share my experience with each bike and how they make me feel when riding them. I always love seeing pics too of what others are riding and doing with their bikes. So anyway for those who care that's really what I intended this thread to be.

I was thinking when the weather starts improving I'd be happy to upload more pics or videos of specific bikes folks want to see more of. Just let me know. Although to be honest when the weather improves I will be riding a lot more than posting!

Cheers fellas! Thanks for indulging me all these years and for the great friends I've met and and solid content I've absorbed. Keep it coming!!!!

Kevin

I think you quoted the wrong person but i'll reply anyway lol.

I didnt take it that way at all, as far as i can tell you seem cool as and humble. I was stocked you took a vid of the norton and posted it after i harassed you about it haha.

You're a legend, keep up the good work and enjoy the ride :)

Ok, your missing the YZF-R7 and a Beechcraft Bonanza:)

What a bike!!!

Saw one for sale in aus a couple years back i couldnt believe it.

WHOA, WHOA, WHOA....... 2 new SL's REALLY KMY? That's awesome! Do you need an assistant at work?

And you obviously most have the coolest wife OF ALL TIME! to allow your MC habit.

Now that you have the 1299SL, sell me your carbon SL wheels off the FE :D

HAHA! call me crazy, but I think the FE with those wheels might look better than the SL. You gotta do it man. It transforms the bike. The rapidtek's are definitely cool, but I love the look of the factory wheels better.

Wife is definitely a keeper, but to say she supports my habit would be far from true. I think she tolerates it at best, but that works for me!!

Hope you're well man!

Ryan, F40 is king of all time. Hail to YOU!

I think you should start a car thread!! :D

Ha! Thanks but I have pared my car collection way back in recent years to just the F40 and a couple of others and you're growing yours so I definitely don't think that I'm the real car guy here. I think you should start the car thread!

Seriously!!

Just the f40. That's hilarious. Also makes me wonder what the hell else you had before that you can say somethin like just the f40.

How many miles does it have on it?

Ha okay. Well, to answer your question I have about 27k miles on it now.

What else I've had: 1973 Ferrari Daytona 365 GTB/4, 1973 Porsche 2.7 Carrera RS, 1979 BMW M1, 1982 Lamborghini Countach LP5000 prototype, 1984 Ferrari 308 GTB, 1986 Porche 930 Turbo, 1989 328 GTB, 1994 348 Challenge, 1997 Ferrari 355, 2001 Ferrari 550 Maranello, 2002 Ferrari 360 Modena (still have), 2007 Ferrari F430.

I might have forgotten something else. Besides the F40, I have the 360, which is essentially a manual Challenge Stradale and I also have a 2008 Mercedes S65 which is a pretty unreal car.

Honestly, I love cars and I still am pretty involved in the hobby but having a lot of cars is hard. I would much prefer to go back to my roots and have a small motorcycle collection. They don't attract as much attention when I use them and they're easier to keep and maintain. But too many motorbikes is a problem too so I am trying to figure that out as well. That's why what Kevin does is so impressive. To have a real collection of that size and caliber is a seriously difficult challenge and he makes it look super easy.

LOL unbelievable.

Enjoy being Reported for .....

You could of at least built it up a lil abit, now i've climaxed and dont know
what to do with my hands.

Ha. Sorry. I have been here for a couple years and I think someone mentioned it once or twice over that time and I figured maybe people knew. Anyway, kind of inconsiderate of me. My bad. :)

Fair enough. Obviously I would have kept the F40 also. I mean that car trumps so many cars out there. Truly a collectible and the fact that it's not just a garage queen is also awesome too. 27k miles is relatively high since a lot of those never see mileage that high. I'm a car first motorcycle second guy but my lack of income prevents me from diving deeper into these hobbies.

Awesome history of cars man. Nice list of bikes too. Hopefully you end up with that 999R also!

Ha. Thanks.

Let's see what happens on the 999R. I had a Xerox but I sold it as I never used it. I sold it because I have so many street bikes it's hard to use them all and I wanted to get more ex factory race bikes. However, being that I'm missing a 999R now and this has some mods I really like, I figured I would give it a go but this will not be a straightforward bike or a straightforward deal.

Also, the Xerox is the high bar of that line but I realized after I got it that I would prefer an all red one. This one is good but will need a fair amount of work. You can see that it has been ridden hard and put away wet and will need a real going through. On top of that, it's in Canada and it will be a pain to import, especially with a seller who doesn't know the regulations. I am sure it's fine to bring back as it was originally a US bike but I will still need the DOT letters and to deal with customs. As I said, a pain.
