Twisted, the Desmo is still my favorite. It's not close...
No electronics!
A riders bike!!!

Unreal pics, love it.
What makes the desmo your fav?
The desmo is a great mix between old and new. It feels truly special too unlike any bike I've ever ridden. It's performance way surpasses my capability. There is a rawness about it that makes it so visceral. And the sound is other worldly. The best ever created in my view. I also love just the idea behind it and ducati's willingness to take on such a challenge.
Maybe I'm caught up in the marketing hype but 11 years on I think it will go down as a classic and one of the truly great bikes to come out of the last several decades. It has steadily risen on my top 10 list as well over the years and has eclipsed even the mighty 998R which previously held the #1 spot. Don't get me wrong. The 998R is insanely good to ride. It's the pinnacle on the design front and represents the very best of what Ducati does but the sense of occasion on the desmo is second to none!! You have to ride one if you haven't. Words just don't do it justice!
Congratulations Kevin!!!!!
Hope you've had a chance to give her a go already.
Rode up to Redmond today and visited your SL's sibling. So very pretty!
I think she's beckoning you to buy her!! . Pretty girl for sure!!
Congrats Kevin. Knew it wouldn't be long till we saw a new V4R pop up.
Let's go break it in at Laguna [emoji106
Thanks man. Let's do it!! I still need to get out there on a bike!
Haven't had all of these at the house before and they likely won't be together again so I figure why not shoot them all?
Missing the V4R which arrives next week and hopefully one other special one next month. But some of these will be going to storage so here's a couple pics I've never seen before while they are all together.
Cheers fellas!
You are my hero!
This is still my favorite thread of the whole forum. Every time I see a new post, I always smile and click to see the update.
Kevin, you are the best.
HAHA! Thanks Ryan. You don't need to check this thread for updates. You're usually the first to know, sometimes even before I do!!!
I really enjoy watching your collection grow as well mate. Some really special stuff your finding.
Kevin
BTW, I've spent more time on the V4R this past week. Now that I've added some miles I've started to explore the higher rev ranges. It turns out the bike DOES power wheelie !
Needs to be ridden very differently than the V4S. But up in the rev ranges it is a manic and ferocious beast. Yet as I mentioned before very docile around town and low in the revs. I've never experienced anything like it. Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde!!
