Powdercoat it. Extremely durable and pretty cheap in cost. Anodizing would be more costly. Powdercoating will more than likely result in a glossy finish but they probably could do a flat finish. Most wheels are powdercoated due to their durability in any condition.

both paint and powder will add weight... you will never notice as it is miniscule

how about Anodizing ? any input? also any recomendation on a shop Im located in florida orlando area

If you're coating them gold, I'm guessing looks are important, which should rule anodizing out as an option for you. It'll look great for a short time, but it'll fade and wear pretty rapidly. Powdercoating will add weight, but it's nearly indestructible.

And the best bit, is that it can be changed or refurbished as required.

so any good Powdercoating shop in florida that can get my wheel powercoating closet to the color of the 1098r wheels? also anybody know the color code for that gold paint?

I powdercoat for a living,here is my 02 cents.

-Yes powder coat might add some weight but we're talking grams? Nothing you would even notice.

-Paint sucks for wheels, don't even bother with this option.

-Anodizing is NOT intended for exterior use,IT WILL FADE QUICK IN THE SUN! Its good for moving parts that have tolerances and cant have added thickness.

And powder does not go by paint codes. So if you have some "1098 gold PPG code" it wont matter. And there is literally pages and pages of gold powders available. You're best bet is comparing it to sample pics of different golds.

If you have a pic of this 1098R gold I can help you find a match.Just post it on here.

I saw that but that is just regular paint and for what I see the best route is powdecoat so I need those color in powdercoat

To give you an idea of how many golds there is

Go here:
Prismatic Powders: Powder Coating Colors

-On left side click GOLD on color wheel
-On left side click on metallic's

A metallic powder is called a "2 stage" because it needs a separate clear coat. This is because the metallics are actual aluminum bits sitting OVER the color. After the initial bake cycle it needs the clear powder to protect and make everything uniform.

Here is where it gets interesting -

There is GLOSS clear and MATTE clear! You can use either and it will alter the final look of the color a lot.

So, on average, how much would powder coating these wheels typically run?

Powdercoating my carlos checa wheels cost me $500. It is a 2 stage candy blue color so it was an extra $200.

Since I was doing the wheels, I did my ttx shock spring and my rearsets at the same time to save me money since it woulda cost me more in prep fees if I did them later on. Was expensive but the end result made it beyond worth it. At least for me.

Pricing will vary of course by area.I know some coaters,in Hawaii, charge way more.My stuff I do like this.

$130 single stage for the pair
$170 2 stage, for the pair

That's if you have tires off and bearings out already.

Dayum! Highway robbery man.I charge less for 18 inch car wheels in 2 stage! And I've been doing this for 5 years now so dont think im a under-quoting noobie working in a house garage.I wouldn't go back to that place if I were you.
