haha good 1.
Frankly i really enjoyed my 1299 rides in a cool weather. I did not buy 1299 to show off by any means, I purchased bike because I like design, speed and bright red look of it.
I do hate with passion persistent heat issue w/ Panigale models, and do not understand why Ducati wont remediate heat issue for many years. Winning back lost customers is like finding hidden treasure, almost impossible!
The problem with heat made my 1299 rides miserable and painful during hot summer days. Heat issue was a main driving factor to part and say good bye to a red beast.
Would I buy V4 or another Duc supersport? Perhaps only after heat probem fixed. Today's market offers so many awesome rides such a bimmer M1000RR, S1000RR, yamaha R1, kawa H2 etc, so waiting for a manufactuirer ro fix long playing issue is not worth it for me.
I did not ride new R1, I suppose its really nice ride. There are many reviews for both bikes, but majority of sport bike riders are underqualified to ride such powerful bikes.
Most riders use bikes on the residential streets and highway, and never on track, so they will never be able to push bikes to the limit to trully understand a potential, power, handling of such powerful bikes either its ducati, yanaha, bimmer etc.
