thanks. the hip protection pads in my riding pants, which are sewn in, just catch the edge of the stock seat sitting a bit off the tank. i find myself scooching forward subconsciously.

i tried sport mode for a minute on sunday evening on the last couple miles of the new section of foothills. those upside down U signs come up quick when your hammered in 4th....back to street for another 1000 miles.

Nice! I stay in Sport mostly. I tried Race for a few days. Not sure there’s any real difference other than less DTC, DWC and ABS. As far as raw power I’m pretty sure they are the same.

Did my first trackdays at the V2 past saturday/Sunday at Anderstorp Raceway in Sweden. I am a beginner when it comes to bikes on track after having raced cars for several years. Much mnore fun on bikes but also difficult. Breaking points and the ”feel of the speed” is so much different. However, love this bike and has now put in a few orders of carbonfiber. Not because it needs it but just to make it a touch more nicer than the black plastic all over. Still waiting for the Evotech tail tidy that has been on back order but now is shipped apparently. To bad the vacation is over and that the track season is coming to an end...0DD51C62-4C42-4FBB-9DF0-0DEA68445516.jpeg

love the bootie socks on the mirrors. on the track, do you run a 60 or 55 series tire on the rear?

@ the school house?

traffic was light so i took an opportunity to stop on one of the serpentine bridges. this one is ok but i should have taken it lower. i figured out a good shot showing the curvature of the bridge but i would need to be there at sunrise

not out on the bike but top down to Mount Mitchel (highest point in the east) on Sunday. found some fun roads but i need to plot some shell stations or stash 5 gallon jugs of pure 93 at intervals. DSC02197.jpg

There's a school house or church at VC dont recall the building.

I haven't ridden much lately but hopefully soon.

in sequoia, we would do control burns to get rid of the underbrush. the burmis was to thick for the redwood seedlings to sprout.

we had a fire here a few years ago that got out of control due to park policy. absolute hell to hike through but the regrowth is coming up nice. fire is a good thing in the cycle of nature.

great run this morning. i believe i passed another v2 coming home.
