Wishful thinking there Xbox but I'm with ya...in hopeful too so I'm hoping 172/182

I figured if the 1198 makes a brochure 170bhp and dyno's around 157 (according to akra), then the 1199 should be good for +19 with a brochure 195 :D

I know what its doing torque/bhp at the moment with 50miles on the clock and standard. But i'm sworn to secrecy

Thats Steve Mercer's super stock bike. I may have to give Rich a ring and see what the figures are

Yeah let us know what you find out asap Scott, I'm sure if the bike was weak the press would have reported that! Instead, most of them were very impressed with the top end speed :). Surely the bike won't lose more tha 25 to the wheel.

As for that get up and go, I'm already thinking about installing a conversion on my gearing....might lose 10mph off the top but that I can live with.

The S1000rr will still be horse power king but not by much, The 1199 will kill it everywhere else by the looks of it. Not too bothered as i will have both :)

At the moment the standard 1199 with 50 miles on the clock is 180rwhp with 92 lb/ft. Once run in and with full system i would think that it will just touch 190rwhp. My bm makes 200rwhp but 3000rpm further up the rev range.

how close to stock is your bm Scott? 200rwhp is killer!

and yeah, with a few more 100x miles on the dash and after innitial service there should be another 2/3 rwhp in there with stock trim.

Also, you keep mentioning the "standard 1199"...im pretty sure all 3 models availalable to the public have the same motor...Dunno what they offer the race teams on the Superstock bikes :)

Thanks for sharing that, Scott. XBox takes the pool! For which he wins rights to a shiny new 1199. Just the small matter of the ahh, doc fee... ;)
