An interesting point about performance was slightly improved by disconnecting the sound control valve and securing the valve fully open.

What would this do to the sound of a standard exhaust?

Would just make it sound more burbly low down in the rev-range.

Flap will open after the noise test threshold (@6k think). Unfortunately, they always gonna cost some performance to run quiet.

Not to worry, the term's will sort it all out :p

Prescicely! I have my exhaust valve disconnected and wide open and the idle/low rev sounds deep and amazing and @ full throttle there's no loss of power. There are way to not only disconnect it but even rig it so the actuator still syncs the cables so ur engine light doesn't come on, either way it doesnt harm your engine...

Getting close now to some official dyno runs. If you read down at the bottom Austin are saying it made 176rwhp as standard with 50 miles. So all in all looking pretty good for a run in bike with toy's. Should imagine 190rwhp with full system and mapping :)
